Christmas is time of joy and fun. And of spending a lot of money. And of eating a lot! It is difficult to say which one is worse – that you eat a lot or that you spend a lot but in either case there is an increased risk that you will remember Christmas long after the holiday season is over. Probably this is not exactly what people mean by “an unforgettable Christmas”? And how can you forget Christmas, when your monthly statements for June still show how much of the Christmas shopping is left to pay back or when in mid-March you discover that all your clothes don't fit you? Sure, you have had an unforgettable Christmas but maybe it is unforgettable not in a positive sense? |

If you are a lady and you look at most of the famous female actors, singers, top models and the like, you will inevitably think that you are soooooo fat, that you must immediately start a diet. If you are a guy and you look at most of the famous male actors, singers, models and the like, you will inevitably think that you are soooooo thin and have nu muscles at all, that you must immediately rush to the gym and start a weight gain program. Well, in the second case (gaining some muscle), it will not do you any harm if you exercise a little but in the cases of starting a weight correction program, you'd better think a little first if you really need to lose or gain weight. Chances are that your body is just right in size and structure but fashion dictators make you think that you disparately need to improve it. |

Diets seem to be a mass obsession, mainly among women, though men are also not immune against it. Well, having in mind the percentage of obese people, it is not a surprise that so many people are interested in diets. What is surprising, though, is that even people who enjoy a healthy body are pulling the devil by the tail and are also dieting – sometimes without limits, or more precisely they are dieting till they reach the limit of exhaustion and health damage. Sure, fashion maniacs will never be convinced that there is no “too thin”, especially when some of the most famous top models, actors, singers and other celebrities are anorexically thin. Even one's disappearing boobs and other assets can't convince dieting fanatics that in many cases dieting is not a solution to a problem but rather a problem in itself. |
